Update, March 8: SDHistCon North 2026 is sold out! Thanks to everyone for your support of our new convention. We can’t wait to see you in the Twin Cities in July! Our initial post with more information on the event continues below.

Badges are now available for the inaugural SDHistCon North in the Twin Cities! This convention will feature two full days of gaming on Saturday, July 11 and Sunday, July 12 at the Union Depot Saint Paul, plus pre-convention activities on July 10 for those who get to town early. Badges are $90 and are extremely limited. (Update: as noted above, they’re now sold out.)

Cole Wehrle, Volko Ruhnke, Liz Davidson, Mark Herman, David Thompson, Sebastian Bae, Ananda Gupta, Dan Bullock, Kevin Bertram, and many other top designers are confirmed guests for SDHistNorth 2026. They’ll be showing off their published and upcoming games. There will also be plenty of opportunities to see, play, and discuss historical games at all stages of development, plus game giveaways, silent auctions, and our world-famous honor code snack table.
