Tickets are now available for this year’s SDHistCon Summit 2025 in San Diego! This face-to-face convention will take place November 7-10 (Friday to Monday) in the Point Loma neighborhood at the SES Portuguese Hall. That’s four full days of gaming fun!

Like the past three years, the convention will be held just two blocks from the San Diego Harbor and a few miles from the San Diego International Airport, not to mention surrounded by delicious restaurants and affordable hotels.
Our annual convention sells out every year, so make sure to get those tickets (priced at $110) early. Those who register in advance will gain access to our Discord server and have the option to participate in our designer Zoom meetings in the buildup to the convention. You’ll be able to chat with the SDHist crew to express your opinions and brainstorm ideas. Help us shape the future of the convention!

This year’s convention will continue our tradition of hosting a compelling mix of historical game designers, publishers, influencers, prototypes, and gamers. You will have the opportunity to see, play, and discuss games at all stages of development, from prototypes to finished products. Designers will show off their newest ideas while publishers demo their new and forthcoming historical games.

As always, you can also participate in panels and lectures covering a variety of topics, from history and publishing to media and community development. We pride ourselves on being a participatory convention, so everyone is also free to join our discussion on the state of the SDHist organization. Lend us your thoughts on how to further the hobby and build a diverse and thriving community!
Looking to play or teach particular games? Event submission is open as soon as you buy a badge. Games can also be arranged in the #looking-to-play channel on the convention Discord server.

Of course, there will also be game giveaways, silent auctions, and our world-famous honor code snack table! This is all in service of our core mission to create a diverse and supportive gaming community dedicated to playing, discussing, designing, and promoting historical tabletop games. Through this commitment, SDHist seeks to serve and grow the existing historical games community through the addition of new voices and perspectives.

If you’re looking to join us at SDHistCon Summit 2025, here again is the link for registration. Thanks for considering our convention, and we hope to see you in San Diego this November!
